The new Western Eye Press – year 2
Against all odds, our new Western Eye Press adventure is still going strong. We are having a wonderful time, making, dicovering and publishing new books. (And even revising and improving some of our original titles)
This year, 2012, we add a new skiing memoir, a new landscape photography book, a reissue of a now classic Western novel, and new versions of our most popular eBook, Linde Waidhofer's Unknown Patagonia, now translated into four new languages: Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian.
And that's just the beginning. We have several beautiful illustrated children's books, and more photo books in preparation... We've proved our point. It's a brave new world and a new day in publishing. We are not buying into the "end-of-the-book" lament that the mainstream media seems to trot out every few months. We are all about the future of the book. Books are here to stay, they are alive and exciting and changing. And Western Eye Press is part of this exciting evolution.
